The federal government is investing $310,920 through the Active Transportation Fund and Rural Transit Stream Fund to support five projects in active and rural transportation across Ontario.

Town of Whitby | Town of Whitby Bike Month | Increasing delivery of active transportation and urban mobility support and programming to marginalized and underserved communities including: seniors, children, women, people with non-binary gender identities, economically-challenged people, racialized communities, and the disabled community. The Town of Whitby will use ATF funds to develop community outreach programming specific to the various communities listed above, to operate community events centered on urban mobility and non-auto travel, and for costs of printing, and distributing information on Whitby's active transportation network. |
