Kelowna, British Columbia, January 13, 2026 — Members of the media are invited to a housing and infrastructure announcement with the Honourable Stephen Fuhr, Member of Parliament for Kelowna and Secretary of State (Defence Procurement); Doug Rankmore, Board of Directors Vice-Chair for the Central Okanagan Foundation; Christina Verhagen, Executive Director of the Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society; Mike Gawliuk, Chief Executive Officer for CMHA Kelowna; and Trevor Moss, Executive Director for the Central Okanagan Food Bank. This announcement is regarding the Government of Canada’s continued commitment to eliminate chronic homelessness across Canada through Solving the Housing Crisis: Canada’s Housing Plan, and through Reaching Home: Canada’s Homelessness Strategy.
