- We are continuously improving to ensure that our immigration and asylum systems are resilient and responsive to new pressures.
- Everyone who applies to come to Canada is assessed by trained immigration officers. For people who arrive in Canada and claim asylum: all adults, regardless of how they arrived, must undergo in-depth security screening.
