New Express Entry categories
New Express entry categories are focused on:
Medical doctors with Canadian work experience;
Pilots, aircraft mechanics, inspectors and candidates with work experience in in-demand transport occupations;
Researchers and senior managers with Canadian work experience.
We continue to invite:
Health care and social services occupations, such as nurse practitioners, dentists, pharmacists, and psychologists;
Trades, such as carpenters, plumbers and machinists.
These initiatives add to Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada's $1.7B Canada Global Impact+ Research initiative to recruit over 1,000 world-leading researchers.
