The honourable ahmed huseen: Happy Canada Day! (In French)

I’m Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship.

I want to wish everyone a Happy Canada Day. Today we get a chance to celebrate Canada and what it means to be Canadian. A country that is committed to the values of compassion, generosity and diversity. A country that is built on the foundation of democracy, a commitment to human rights, a commitment to federalism, and a commitment to protecting the rights of minorities.

And most recently, we got a chance to celebrate together, bringing the NBA Championship to Canada – ‘We The North’ – Happy Canada Day!

The screen fades to black and shows the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada corporate signature along with the copyright message “Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada, represented by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, 2019.”

The screen changes to The “Canada” wordmark.
