Narrator: When you come back from a trip, you feel like you have superpowers. Like you’re, you can do anything, because you’ve been through so many things and so many weird stories, that you’re just like, “I’m Superwoman, I can do whatever I want.”

Narrator: When I bought my ticket, I was so happy, like, I was just, “I’m going to New Zealand!”

Narrator: I remember taking these pictures with my tickets, but then I think like 2 or 3 nights later, I couldn’t sleep, I was crying, I was just like, “Oh my God, what have I done?”

Narrator: And then I spoke to my dad about it, and he was a traveller when he was young, and he was just like, “It’s gonna be fine. You’re gonna have such a good experience.”

Narrator: Actually, IEC made it really easy, because you just have to go, like, you choose the country you wanna go, and then you have all the information.

Narrator: I felt like I needed a purpose, like I need to wake up and do something, so I’m gonna find a job, I’m gonna work and in that way, it could extend my stay as well.

Narrator: It was great, actually. In New Zealand, I got to know a bunch of people—I think we were like 8 or 9 working at the same orchard—

Narrator: people from different countries, and like we kind of created a small community all together.
