Immigrate through the Atlantic Immigration Pilot: apply for permanent residence

Submit your application for permanent residence

The Atlantic Immigration Pilot closed on December 31, 2021, and provincial endorsements are no longer being issued. If you have a valid provincial certificate of endorsement, you can still apply for permanent residence under the Atlantic Immigration Pilot until March 5, 2022.

The Atlantic Immigration Program has replaced the pilot. You can submit your permanent residence application to the new program starting March 6, 2022.

You can now apply online

We’re testing a new online immigration application. You can use it to apply (opens in a new tab)

Choose the application package for the program you’ll be applying through:

The application package includes the instruction guide and all the forms you need to fill out, including these Atlantic Immigration Pilot documents:

  • Offer of Employment to a Foreign National
  • Certificate of Endorsement

You may need to give your biometrics

In most cases, you now need to give your fingerprints and photo (biometrics) after you apply. Find out where biometrics fits in the application process.
