Special Celebration with the Association of Iroquois and Allied Indians (AIAI)

Ottawa - Please be advised that the Honourable Carolyn Bennett, Minister of Indigenous and Northern Affairs, along with Mitzie Hunter, Minister of Education for the province of Ontario, will join Grand Chief Gord Peters of the Association of Iroquois and Allied Indians (AIAI) for a special ceremony to celebrate a key step in supporting First Nations-led education.

Minister Bennett, Mitzie Hunter, Minister of Education for the province of Ontario and Grand Chief Gord Peters will be available for a brief media availability following the event.
