Minister Bennett to Announce Investments in Water Infrastructure for White Bear First Nation, and Announce Progress on New Fiscal Relationship with National Chief Perry Bellegarde

Regina – Please be advised that the Honourable Carolyn Bennett, Minister of Indigenous and Northern Affairs will hold an event to announce infrastructure funding in water and wastewater infrastructure for White Bear First Nation.

On the same day, Minister Bennett and Assembly of First Nations National Chief Perry Bellegarde will announce concrete steps to a new fiscal relationship that supports First Nations.

Both announcements will be followed by short media availabilities.

Please note that Minister Bennett will also give a keynote address at the Assembly of First Nations 38th Annual General Assembly.
