Celebration of historic coordination agreement signing between Loon River First Nation, Lubicon Lake Band, Peerless Trout First Nation, Canada and Alberta related to First Nations children and families

Trout Lake, Alberta — Chief Ivan Sawan of the Loon River First Nation, Chief Billy Joe Laboucan of the Lubicon Lake Band, and Chief Gilbert Okemow of the Peerless Trout First Nation will be joined by the Honourable Marc Miller, Minister of Crown–Indigenous Relations, on behalf of the Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Indigenous Services, and by the Honourable Mickey Amery, Alberta’s Minister of Children’s Services, to celebrate the signing of the first coordination agreement in Alberta to support the well-being of First Nations children.
