Industrial Technologies Office
The Industrial Technologies Office (ITO), a Special Operating Agency of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, advances leading edge research and development (R&D) by Canadian industries. The agency manages two programs which continue to accept new applications: the Technology Demonstration Program (TDP) and the Strategic Aerospace and Defence Initiative (SADI). ITO also manages programs no-longer accepting new applications: the Technology Partnerships Canada (TPC) program, the Program for Strategic Industrial Projects (PSIP), and the Hydrogen Early Adopters (h2EA) program.
Services and information
The Technology Demonstration Program (TDP) provides non-repayable contributions in support of large-scale technology demonstration projects in the aerospace, defence, space and security (A&D) sectors.
The Strategic Aerospace and Defence Initiative (SADI) provides repayable contributions to support research and development (R&D) projects in the aerospace, space, defence and security (A&D) sectors.
Technology Partnerships Canada (TPC) is a legacy program that was geared to pre-competitive projects across a wide spectrum of technological development, including environmental technologies, life sciences, information and communications technologies and advanced manufacturing.
