Minister Duncan to participate in her first citizen science Google Hangout at Toronto Zoo

Ottawa, June 14, 2018—The Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science and Minister of Sport and Persons with Disabilities, will be at the Toronto Zoo encouraging young Canadians to get involved in science in their own communities.   

The Minister will participate in a Google Hangout with a frog expert from the Toronto Zoo and a scientist from Environment and Climate Change Canada. Elementary school children across Canada will have the chance to ask the Minister, the zoo researcher and the scientist questions about how they can become citizen scientists.
