Parliamentary Secretary Lockhart to address participants at the Roots, Rants and Roars Festival in Elliston, Newfoundland and Labrador

Elliston, Newfoundland and Labrador, September 14, 2018—Alaina Lockhart, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Tourism, Official Languages and La Francophonie, will take part in the annual two-day Roots, Rants and Roars Festival in Elliston, Newfoundland and Labrador.

PS Lockhart will attend all three main festival events and deliver remarks about the importance of regional tourism and the significance of cultural and culinary tourism at The Feast on Saturday evening. Since 2009, the Roots, Rants and Roars Festival has grown to become the premier culinary event in Newfoundland and Labrador and is recognized throughout Canada as one of the top national culinary festivals.
