Government of Canada to announce major investment in youth mental health research

August 29, 2025, Montreal, Quebec – The Honourable Marjorie Michel, Minister of Health, will announce a major investment in a research initiative that aims to improve youth mental health and wellness services across the country. The Minister will be joined by Mr. Claude Guay, Member of Parliament for LaSalle—Émard—Verdun, and Dr. Patricia Conrod, Scientific Director of the CIHR Institute of Neurosciences, Mental Health and Addiction.
