Modernization of CIPO's online practice manuals
News release
The Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) is modernizing its online search tools to help its clients easily, quickly and efficiently retrieve intellectual property information from its online databases.
CIPO has worked closely with Lexum to modernize the online practice manuals for patents, trademarks, copyright and industrial designs, available using a publishing service platform called Qweri. Qweri is a well-known web application that is already being used by multiple organizations in Canada.
The modernized online manuals will save you time by providing quick access to all information regarding operational procedures and examination practices at CIPO.
The modernized online manuals will be launched in two phases. First, we are looking for your feedback on our BETA version. The second phase will be the official launch after collection and analysis of your feedback.
Try it now and give us your feedback!
- BETA Manual of Patent Office Practice (MOPOP)
- BETA Trademarks Examination Manual (TEM)
- New Industrial Design Office Practice Manual (IDOP) will be available on Qweri soon. Stay tuned!
Please direct any feedback, questions or comments you may have about the modernized online practice manuals to the Client Service Centre.
