You can also search by:

- Enter keywords related to the topic of the article, such as a band, singer, place or type of music. An auto-complete list will suggest topics for you to search.

- Enter year only.
- It isn’t possible to search by a more specific date because the articles were entered as they appeared in the periodical. They can be precise dates like “31 Aug. 1985” or bilingual seasons like “Summer / été 2009.”

- Use this field if you are looking for a certain type of article, such as a biography, discography or book review.
- language
- periodical title
About the records
The entries include articles dating from the late-19th century to 2013. The references are pulled from Canadian music journals, newsletters and magazines.
