CFGB Participation in GCWCC 2

November 28, 2009

Denis Beaulieu, campaign manager for the Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign (GCWCC), and a representative of the GCWCC, Corinne Pitre, visited the offices of the CFGB to accept the contributions of over $4,000 raised by the Board's personnel during the campaign.

"As this is only the Board's second year of participating in the campaign, you and your staff are to be congratulated on the incredible work you have done," said Mr. Beaulieu. "On behalf of all the people in various walks of life who will benefit from your generosity, I wish to thank you for the great results," he added.

Anne Sinclair, the Board's Executive Director and GCWCC champion, then presented Corinne Pitre with the contributions raised and accepted a commemorative award from the GCWCC in the name of all the Board personnel who worked hard for the success of the campaign.

"My volunteers and I sincerely appreciate the support shown by the GCWCC staff to the Board's campaign," said Mrs. Sinclair.
