What's New: Walk/Run in Red

MGERC Walk/Run in Red participants

Staff of the Military Grievances External Review Committee and the Chairperson, Mr. Bruno Hamel, joined hundreds of military personnel, civilian employees of the Department of National Defence and supporters from the community for the 9^th Walk/Run in Red, held in Ottawa on May 29, 2015.

In the lead-up to the Canadian Armed Forces Day (June 7, 2015), the annual Walk/Run in Red celebrates the contributions of military personnel towards peace and security, both at home and abroad.

Every year we welcome this opportunity to express our appreciation to all Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members and their families for their commitment and endurance. We thank them for their defence of Canada and its sovereignty, help to people in distress, and contribution to international security, said Mr. Hamel.
