Minister Carr to Attend CERAWeek 2017 in Houston, Texas

OTTAWA , March 3, 2017 — Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources, the Honourable Jim Carr, will attend CERAWeek 2017 from March 6 to 10 in Houston, Texas. This annual event is one of the largest international energy conferences, bringing together energy industry leaders, experts, government officials, policymakers and innovators from around the world.
Minister Carr will meet with his new U.S. counterparts as well as with his counterparts from other countries, including India, the United Kingdom and Israel. The Minister will also participate in a panel discussion focused on Canada’s energy dynamics and engage in a discussion moderated by Carlos Pascual, Senior Vice President of IHS Markit, the conference’s organizer.
