Minister Carr to Make an Official Visit to Washington, D.C.

OTTAWA — Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources, the Honourable Jim Carr, will make an official visit to Washington, D.C., from March 28-30. This trip will allow the Minister to engage with key members of the new Administration on energy, forestry and mining.

Minister Carr will meet Secretary of Energy Rick Perry and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt, other members of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, and several White House advisors.  He will also attend a reception hosted by the Canadian American Business Council, and deliver a keynote address at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for 21st Century Energy.

Minister Carr will hold a call-back with Canadian media to discuss his visit on Thursday, March 30.
