Minister Sohi to Visit Northern Ontario

OTTAWA — The Honourable Amarjeet Sohi, Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources, will visit northern Ontario on October 29–30, 2018, to meet with mining industry stakeholders and Indigenous leaders.
On October 29, Minister Sohi will make a forestry announcement in Chapleau and a Clean Growth Program announcement, followed by a tour of Goldcorp’s Borden Gold Mine. A media availability will follow each event.
Note: Steel toe boots are required for the mine tour. Hard hats will be provided on site.
