Minister O’Regan to Make Tree-Planting Announcement

OTTAWA — The Honourable Seamus O’Regan, Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources, will provide an update on the Government of Canada’s commitment to plant two billion trees to mitigate the impacts of climate change.

A media availability will follow the event.

Notes:                 Those who wish to attend are asked to respect the social distancing practices outlined by the Public                                        Health Agency of Canada. Keep two metres apart from others and follow all directional arrows. Wearing                                a face mask is required. Do not enter greenhouses where staff members are working. No food or drinks                                permitted onsite.

                              In-person attendance will be limited to 30 people.
