Minister O’Regan and Minister Wilkinson to Provide Update on Canada’s Plan to Plant Two Billion Trees (Virtual)

OTTAWA — The Honourable Seamus O’Regan Jr., Minister of Natural Resources, along with the Honourable Jonathan Wilkinson, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, will provide an update on the Government of Canada’s commitment to plant two billion trees to mitigate the impacts of climate change.

Representatives from ALUS and Tree Canada will also be present.

A media availability will follow the event.

Location:         This virtual event will be held using the Zoom platform. Accredited media are asked to pre-register to participate.
