Minister Wilkinson to Launch 2 Billion Trees Planting Season

NEW WESTMINSTER, B.C. — The Honourable Jonathan Wilkinson, Minister of Natural Resources and Councillor Nadine Nakagawa, Acting Mayor of the City of New Westminster, will plant trees for the 2 Billion Trees initiative and launch the program’s tree-planting season at Queen’s Park in New Westminster, British Columbia.

Location: Queen’s Park, picnic shelter
New Westminster, B.C., V3M 1V2
Enter parking area from 4th Ave and 1st Street or Oakland Street and 1st Street. Picnic shelter is a short way down the path.
