On February 14, 2023, as a result of the vigilance of staff members, a package containing contraband and unauthorized items was seized on the perimeter of the Regional Reception Centre, a federal multi-level security institution. The contraband and unauthorized items seized included 115 grams of hashish, 300 grams of tobacco, a cell phone, and a SIM card. The total estimated institutional value of this seizure is $19,800.

On February 15, 2023, as a result of the vigilance of staff members, a package containing contraband and unauthorized items was seized on the perimeter of Donnacona Institution, a federal maximum-security institution. The contraband and unauthorized items seized included 428 grams of marijuana, 92 grams of hashish, and 228 grams of tobacco. The total estimated institutional value of this seizure is $79,200.
