The Government of Canada and the Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) have partnered to provide more in-person services to individuals living in the Northwest Territories. Starting today, the governments have launched a 12-month service delivery pilot, in which GNWT employees at single points of service will provide in-person services for Service Canada in the communities of Fort Providence, Fort Liard and Tuktoyaktuk.

"I am pleased to receive and share with Canadians the interim report of the Expert Panel on Youth Employment. Our government knows that prosperity for the middle class will increasingly depend on young Canadians getting the tools they need to access the jobs of today and of tomorrow. The Expert Panel on Youth Employment is examining the barriers young people face, including vulnerable youth, in finding and keeping jobs. They will be putting forward bold, innovative ideas to break down these barriers.
