China’s extensive program of repression includes severe restrictions on religious freedoms, the use of forced labour, mass detention in internment camps, forced sterilisations, and the concerted destruction of Uyghur heritage.
A rules-based multilateral trading system, with the World Trade Organization (WTO) at its core, is essential to ensuring a sustainable and inclusive global economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
March 22, 2021 -The Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of Small Business, Export Promotion and International Trade, will launch the virtual trade mission to Singapore. Minister Ng will provide a keynote address to Canadian delegation participating and announce new services to support Canadian business expansion in Asia.
