We mourn the senseless death of Hauwa Mohammed Liman, a midwife working with the International Committee of the Red Cross, at the hands of Boko Haram. Ms. Liman’s murder comes one month after her ICRC colleague, Saifura Hussaini Ahmed Khorsa, was executed in similar circumstances. The two were abducted together with a third health worker, Alice Loksha, a nurse who worked in a centre supported by UNICEF.
