On December 9, Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut Jeremy Hansen will connect via Skype live from Houston, Texas, with students from Thornwood Public School in Mississauga, Ontario. During a question and answer session, he will speak about space with students in Grades 3 and 4, who are learning about robotics, plants and soil, and Mars colonization.
On December 2nd, Canadian Space Agency (CSA) Astronaut Jeremy Hansen will connect with students from Harrowsmith Public School in South Frontenac, Ontario. During a question and answer session via Skype live from Houston, he will speak about his astronaut journey and space to these grade 5, 6 and 7 students who are passionate about science and the solar system.
On December 2nd, Canadian Space Agency (CSA) Astronaut David Saint-Jacques will connect with students from Saint-Jean-Baptiste School in Val-David, Quebec. During this activity which will celebrate six years of robotics at Saint-Jean-Baptiste School, he will answer students' questions with regards to robotics, being an astronaut, and space exploration.
The launch of the Orbital Sciences Cygnus resupply craft to the International Space Station is planned for December 3, 2015, at approximately 5:55 PM (EST). Cygnus will be captured by Canadarm2 when it arrives at the Station on December 6. Cygnus's cargo includes two Canadian experiments: MARROW and Vascular Echo.
