Today, the Honourable Gregor Robertson, Minister of Housing and Infrastructure and Minister responsible for Pacific Economic Development Canada, David Billedeau, President and CEO of the Canadian Hydrogen Association (CHA), and Josipa Petrunic, President and CEO of the Canadian Urban Transit Research and Innovation Consortium (CUTRIC), announced a combined investment of more than $1.25M to explore hydrogen fueling options for public transit agencies within the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Areas (GTHA).
Today, the Minister of National Defence, the Honourable David J. McGuinty announced he is seeking candidates to join the national External Advisory Committee on Anti-Black Racism, which was one of the recommendations in the National Apology Advisory Committee (NAAC) Report.

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal today initiated an expiry review of its order made on December 30, 2020, in expiry review RR-2019-006, to determine if the expiry of the order is likely to lead to continued or resumed dumping of oil country tubular goods, originating in or exported from Chinese Taipei, India, Indonesia, South Korea, Thailand, Türkiye, Ukraine and Vietnam, and is likely to result in injury to the domestic industry.

From December 8 to 11 2025, the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission will hold the second part of a public hearing to consider the Wheeler River mine and mill project proposed by Denison Mines Corporation. The proposed project would be located in northern Saskatchewan.
In keeping with this commitment, the Minister of Finance and National Revenue, the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, announced the appointment of Chantal Frappier, Marjolaine Giasson, Sandra L. Hanington, Maureen C. Jensen and Andrew D. Mutch to the Board of Directors of the Bank of Canada, effective November 27, 2025.
