CRTC takes action against telemarketers selling home improvement services

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) announced today that four companies located in the Toronto area have paid $84,000 in administrative monetary penalties as part of settlements over violations of the telemarketing rules. The companies, which sell home improvement services, also agreed to put a stop to their current telemarketing practices.


Project: Human Rights Training for Judges in Ukraine

The project aims to increase the protection of human rights of Ukrainian citizens in the courts by training Ukrainian legal professionals on the norms of the European Court of Human Rights.
