The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced today a significant seizure of over 23 kilograms of suspected cocaine at the Toronto Pearson International Airport.
From September 18 to November 13, people in Vancouver's Lower Mainland will be able to literally step into Vancouver's past as the interactive virtual reality experience Circa 1948 makes its Canadian premiere as part of Simon Fraser University's Cultural Programs. People in downtown Vancouver will be able to experience this immersive installation from September 18 to October 16 at SFU Woodward's as part of Hidden Pasts, Digital Futures: A Festival of Immersive Arts, then it travels to SFU Surrey from October 27 to November 13. These events are presented by SFU in collaboration with the National Film Board of Canada (NFB) and the Vancouver International Film Festival.

The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) has updated REGDOC-3.5.2, Compliance and Enforcement: Administrative Monetary Penalties. Specifically, section 3.3 on "right to request a review" has been modified. On August 22, 2015 at approximately 6:30 p.m., an inmate was severely injured following an altercation at Drummond Institution, a medium security federal institution. The injured inmate was immediately assessed by staff and taken to an outside hospital.
On August 23, 2015, at about 9:20 a.m., an inmate was found to have been victim of an assault at Atlantic Institution, a maximum security federal institution. The injured inmate was immediately evaluated by staff members and transported to an outside hospital to receive treatment.
