Thanks to the government's recent changes to the Citizenship Act, Canada has now welcomed two new citizens under the recently-launched fast-track provision for members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), announced Canada's Citizenship and Immigration Minister Chris Alexander today.
The Honourable Gail Shea, Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, on behalf of the Honourable Rob Moore, Minister of State (Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency), and PEI Minister of Fisheries, Aquaculture and Rural Development Ron MacKinley today announced combined funding of $182,708 for the PEI Shellfish Association Limited.
