Minister Cannon to Visit Canadian Ice Service in Ottawa

The Honourable Lawrence Cannon, Minister of Foreign Affairs, will visit Environment Canada's Canadian Ice Service Operations Centre on Thursday, April 9, 2009. He will be briefed on the mandate of the Canadian Ice Service, as well as the importance of Arctic observational systems, such as Canada's RADARSAT satellites. The Minister will be available for a photo opportunity and will be answering questions.
