Oda, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Status of Women, the Honourable Tony Clement, Minister of Health and Minister for the Federal Economic Development Initiative for Northern Ontario, today announced funding of $19,140 for the Anishinaabe Kweg Research Project. The goal of the project is to study traditional Aboriginal healing methods in the treatment of issues such as family violence, mental health, substance abuse and grief.
