Bernard Valcourt, Minister of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development, in partnership with the National Association of Friendship Centres, today announced support for seven organizations in Atlantic Canada through the Urban Partnerships program.
They run the gamut from well-established companies to new startups. Some have reaped the highest honours the industry can bestow, while others are just starting to make their mark. Some are part of Atlantic Canada's computer gaming industry and others stem from the region's mobile application development sector. What they have in common is that they are all part of Atlantic Canada's booming information and communications technology (ICT) sector.

Delegates from all NASCO member countries will converge in Labrador from June 2-5, 2015 for the 32nd annual meeting of the international organization whose primary focus is the conservation and management of wild salmon in the North Atlantic.
