DREDGING NEW BRUNSWICK WHARVES LOWER NEWCASTLE - A competitive standing offer* has been awarded for the floating plant dredging at various wharves and entrance channels in Restigouche, Gloucester and Northumberland Counties, New Brunswick, on an as-and-when-requested basis. A multiple award was issued to the three lowest bidders, all from New Brunswick, with the primary standing offer going to Maira Marine Ltd., of Lower Newcastle. The two alternates are Les Creusages J.L.R. Ltée (Eco Technologies), of Pigeon Hill, and Acadian Dredging Ltd., of Cocagne. This standing offer will expire in April 2006 and cannot exceed $874,000. DREDGING NEW BRUNSWICK WHARVES NEGUAC - A competitive standing offer* has been awarded for land-based dredging at various public wharves in Restigouche, Gloucester and Northumberland Counties, New Brunswick, on an as-and-when-requested basis. A multiple award was issued to the three lowest bidders, all from New Brunswick, with the primary standing offer going to L. Breau & Sons Ltd., of Neguac. The two alternates are Alvin Scott, of Lower Newcastle, and Louis Hachey Crane Service of Pokemouche. This standing offer will expire in April 2006 and cannot exceed $285,200. * A standing offer is an arrangement that allows government departments and agencies to deal with suppliers under set prices and conditions.
