AIRPORT SEWAGE TREATMENT SYSTEM DESIGN WINNIPEG - A $203,979 competitive contract has been awarded to Stantec Consulting Ltd., of Winnipeg, Manitoba, to design a new sewage treatment system for Thompson Airport, Manitoba. The engineering design will include all structural, mechanical, electrical as well as heating, ventilation and air conditioning requirements necessary to operate the wastewater treatment plant. Awarded on behalf of Transport Canada, this contract will be completed in August 2006. INSULATION REPLACEMENT WINNIPEG - A $101,906 competitive contract has been awarded to G & B Enterprises Ltd., of Winnipeg, Manitoba, to re-insulate the mechanical rooms at the Canadian Science Centre for Human and Animal Health. Awarded on behalf of Health Canada, this contract will be completed in March 2006. CONSTRUCTION OF CALDERS DOCK BREAKWATER MULVIHILL - A $62,740 competitive contract has been awarded to Lindell-Dmyterko Ltd., of Mulvihill, Manitoba, to construct a rubble mound breakwater at Calders Dock harbour in Manitoba. The construction of the breakwater is necessary to protect the fishing harbour from inclement weather conditions on Lake Winnipeg.
