OTTAWA, April 25, 2007 - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and
Mrs. Willman’s Baking Limited are warning
people with allergies to egg, milk and soy proteins not to consume the various
sandwich products described below. The affected products contain egg, milk and
soy which are not declared on the label.
All "Best Before" dates up to and including 07 MA 15 (May 15,
2007) of the following sandwich products are affected by this alert:

These products have been distributed in Alberta and British Columbia.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of
these products.
Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening
reaction in persons with allergies to egg, milk and soy proteins.
The manufacturer, Mrs. Willman’s Baking
Limited, Calgary, Alberta, is voluntarily recalling the affected products from
the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the
effectiveness of the recall.
