Longueuil, Quebec, April 6, 2009 - Canadian media are invited to NASA's Johnson Space Center (JSC) on April 27 and 28, 2009 where Canadian Space Agency (CSA) Astronaut Julie Payette is training for mission STS-127, scheduled to launch on June 13, 2009. This is Payette's second trip to the International Space Station during which she will play an important role in space robotics to install the remaining components of the Japanese Space Agency's KIBO lab.
These media days are the last opportunity for media to conduct one-on-one interviews with Julie Payette before her mission takes place.
Interested media must forward the information for accreditation required by NASA for each person who will be travelling to JSC to the Canadian Space Agency Media Relations. Note that places are limited. The information must be received by end of day, Thursday, April 9, 2009. You will find the form in Word format on the CSA website at www.asc-csa.gc.ca/doc/FNBadge.doc.
