“I am pleased to congratulate the Native Council of Nova Scotia (NCNS) on their 37th Annual General Assembly (AGA).
This year's theme In Partnership was very fitting as the NCNS continues to build relationships to ensure the sustainability of the programs and services it offers throughout Nova Scotia, including the Aboriginal Peoples Training and Employment Commission , Education and Student Services , and the Rural and Native Housing Group .
The Native Council of Nova Scotia is working diligently with partners to improve social and economic opportunities for Aboriginal people living off-reserve in Nova Scotia. We remain committed to supporting programs that will create jobs and increase self-reliance.”
