The Department of Finance today released the 2012 Tax Expenditures and Evaluations report.
This report provides estimates and projections of the revenue impacts of federal tax measures designed to support the economic and social priorities of the Government of Canada.
The report includes a profile of Tax-Free Savings Account holders as well as a methodological paper on the tax expenditures in respect of accelerated deductions of capital costs.
The release of this year’s Tax Expenditures and Evaluationsreport has been coordinated with the tabling in the House of Commons of the Main Estimates by the President of the Treasury Board, and will continue to be coordinated in this manner in future years.
