Stanley Bridge, Prince Edward Island - The Honourable Gail Shea, Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, today announced that the Government of Canada is investing in a major repair project at Stanley Bridge Harbour. This investment is part of the regular program funding for small craft harbours in 2014-2015.
The harbour project will consist of realigning the breakwater in order to expand the basin area and increase the berthing capacity. This work will be undertaken over two years. The tendering process is planned for early fall with the actual construction work expected to begin in late fall.
