Investment facilitate access to translation for SMEs and NPOs

Thanks to an investment by the Government of Canada, under the Roadmap for Canada’s Official Languages 2013-2018, Alianco will provide translation services to small and medium-sized enterprises and non-profit organizations.
The Honourable Bernard Valcourt, Minister of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada and Member of Parliament for Madawaska-Restigouche, joined Alianco representatives to make the announcement today.
This project will make it possible to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and non-profit organizations (NPOs) in Atlantic Canada so that they have access to translation services in both official languages. Under the program, Alianco will provide a contribution to applicants to cover up to 75% of translation costs, to a maximum of $8,000. Business documents such as flyers, advertisements and other documents shared with the public, especially those intended for promotional purposes, are some examples of documents that could qualify for the program.
The Government of Canada’s contribution of $369,128 toward this initiative is provided under the Roadmap for Canada’s Linguistic Duality 2013-2018. Alianco is providing $137,200.
