Jeff Watson, Parliamentary Secretary to the Honourable Lisa Raitt, Minister of Transport today announced an investment of $3,706,121 over two years for the rehabilitation of the airfield electrical system at the Northwest Regional Airport.
This work, which includes upgrades to airfield lighting and the replacement of the field electrical centre, will provide for continued airfield visibility and safe runways and taxiways for travellers.
Funding is provided through Transport Canada’s Airports Capital Assistance Program (ACAP).
