Quebec City, Que.—The general court martial for Warrant Officer André Gagnon, in relation to a charge of sexual assault, begins next week. The trial is open to the media and the public.
When: Monday, August 11, 2014, starting at 9:30 a.m.
Media are asked to arrive no later than 9:00 a.m. to ensure access and receive a briefing.

Quebec City, Quebec.
What: Warrant Officer Gagnon faces a general court martial in relation to a charge resulting from offenses that are alleged to have occurred on or about December 15, 2011, at or near the Régiment de la Chaudière Lévis Armoury in Quebec.
He is charged with one count of sexual assault, an offence under Section 130 of the National Defence Act, contrary to Section 271(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
