The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) advises travellers that, between 11 p.m. on August 6, and 6 a.m. on August 7, lanes will be reduced at the Cornwall port of entry while work is done to complete the move of the secondary examination canopy.
The port of entry will remain open at all times; however, travellers may experience delays or increased wait times.
Travellers should take this information into consideration when planning their border crossing and are advised to check border wait times on Twitter (@CBSA_CWL) or visit the CBSA Web site.
The CBSA is working to have the canopy installed as quickly as possible to minimize delays and apologizes for any inconvenience.
Quick Facts
- The Cornwall POE has five primary inspection lanes, allowing the Agency to better manage traffic volumes.
- The CBSA’s priorities remain ensuring a high level of border integrity and security as well as facilitating the free flow of legitimate travel and trade across the border.
