December 16, 2014 – Halifax, NS – Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA)
Marden-Wild of Canada Limited understands the importance of sourcing quality ingredients and materials to make fine products. That’s why they moved to Amherst, Nova Scotia from Boston, Massachusetts more than 60 years ago to source Nova Scotian fish oils, soybeans and other raw materials to make their tanning oils, fat liquors and waxes for use in the leather industry.
Best-known for their ability to create customized product applications to meet the unique needs of their customers, Marden-Wild is considered a premier brand for high-performance leather goods. As their global markets expand and competition intensifies, Marden-Wild understands that continuing innovation is critical to their ongoing success.
That’s why the Government of Canada is pleased to assist Marden-Wild to expand and modernize their manufacturing facility with a $250,000 repayable contribution through ACOA’s Business Development Program (BDP).

The more productive facility will also enable Marden-Wild to further diversify their product line, while delivering quality customer service and technical support to their international clients.
