Construction of water supply infrastructure
This project will include the construction of a new, secure and reliable water supply system to meet the community's needs and provide safe, clean, high-quality-drinking water for local residents.
- The Government of Canada will provide up to $1,099,890 for this project.
- The Province of Ontario will contribute up to $1,099,890 to this project.
- The Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation will be responsible for all remaining costs of the project.
Uxbridge, Ontario
Brock Street Culvert
The work includes the replacement of the existing culvert on Brock Street, the busiest road in the downtown core. Once completed, this project will help reduce the risk of flooding and protect the health and well-being of local residents.
- The Government of Canada will provide up to $2,511,206 for this project.
- The Province of Ontario will contribute up to $2,511,206 to this project.
- The Corporation of the Township of Uxbridge will be responsible for all remaining costs of the project.
Clarington, Ontario
Baseline Road Bridge Reconstruction
Reconstruction of Baseline Road Bridge will include the replacement and repair of the existing bridge infrastructure. These upgrades will enhance safety of the bridge and increase its functional lifespan.
- The Government of Canada will provide up to $227,130 for this project.
- The Province of Ontario will contribute up to $227,130 to this project.
- The Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington will be responsible for all remaining costs of the project.
Scugog, Ontario
Line 6 Reconstruction
This project will involve the reconstruction of Scugog Line 6 from Highway 12 to west of Highway 7A. The two lane rural road will be converted to an urban road with sidewalks and median. These upgrades will help increased traffic flow and improve safety for motorists and pedestrians.
- The Government of Canada will provide up to $1,530,902 for this project.
- The Province of Ontario will contribute up to $1,530,902 to this project.
- The Corporation of the Township of Scugog will be responsible for all remaining costs of the project.
