Funding to improve facilities for Canadian Armed Forces personnel in Canada is possible through the new Federal Infrastructure Investments Program

BEAUCEVILLE, QUEBEC – The Honourable Maxime Bernier, Minister of State (Small Business and Tourism) and Member of Parliament for Beauce, on behalf of the Honourable Julian Fantino, Associate Minister of National Defence, today announced an $800,000 investment to improve the Beauceville Armoury, in support of the Canadian Armed Forces.
The Beauceville Armoury will have various repairs and renovations done to its roof and envelop, as well as other general repairs and upgrades to the interior of the facility.
The Armoury is home to the Régiment de la Chaudière, a Reserve infantry unit in the Canadian Armed Forces. It is part of 35 Canadian Brigade Group. The Régiment de la Chaudière is mainly composed of men and women from the Beauce, Lévis-Bellechasse, Thetford Mines and Lac-Mégantic regions.
